Our Founder

Dr. Jourdan is the founder of our practice and retired with over 50 years of experience in the dental field! During those years, he truly came to understand the science and physics of the dentistry. He constantly reinvested time, talent, and energy into the practice, which is a philosophy that has been instrumental in keeping our office current and innovative over the years. He focused a great deal of time in orthodontics. He traveled to Costa Rica to perform further study on Invisalign® and to see the plant from which the aligners are made and developed. His approach toward dentistry stressed attention towards the thoughtful, comprehensive diagnosis of all factors that contribute to a patients’ dental health. Combined with his experience, his professional craftsmanship allowed him to use this to achieve successful results.

Dr. Jourdan has three children and nine grandchildren. Since his retirement, you'll often see him around Glen Ellyn, following his passions of meeting new people, traveling, flying airplanes, hunting, fishing, and gardening. 

Dr. Jourdan is a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Dentistry. He spent time as an instructor of advanced prosthodontics and he completed numerous comprehensive courses in orthodontics. He was a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Chicago Dental Society (CDS), Illinois State Dental Association (ISDA), a charter member of the American Academy of Functional Orthodontics (AAFO), and served as President of the DuPage County Medical Society.
